Glowtyenergy, operating from our Auckland workshop at 137 Sunnybrae Road, Hillcrest, Auckland 0627, New Zealand, is committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your custom furniture purchase. Please read this Return Policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures as a New Zealand custom furniture business.
Custom Furniture Policy for New Zealand Customers
As all our furniture is custom-made to your specifications in our Auckland workshop, returns are generally not accepted once production has commenced. However, we work closely with you throughout the design and production process to ensure your complete satisfaction with your New Zealand-made furniture.
Pre-Production Changes
Before production begins at our Auckland workshop, you may:
- Modify design specifications at no additional cost (subject to feasibility and New Zealand timber availability)
- Change material selections, including switching between New Zealand native timbers and imported hardwoods (price adjustments may apply)
- Cancel your order and receive a full refund of your deposit in New Zealand dollars, minus any design work already completed
Quality Issues
If you receive custom furniture from our Auckland workshop that does not meet the agreed specifications or has manufacturing defects:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery in New Zealand to report the issue
- We will inspect the furniture at our Auckland workshop or arrange inspection at your location
- We will repair, replace, or provide a refund for defective items, in accordance with New Zealand consumer guarantees
- All quality issues will be resolved at no additional cost to you
- Repairs will be conducted at our Auckland facility using New Zealand timber and materials where applicable
Warranty for New Zealand-Made Furniture
All custom furniture crafted in our Auckland workshop comes with a warranty covering:
- Structural defects for 5 years from delivery date within New Zealand
- Manufacturing defects for 2 years from delivery date
- Finish defects for 1 year from delivery date
- Warranty is valid for furniture delivered within New Zealand
Warranty coverage does not include damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Warranty service is provided from our Auckland workshop location.
Refund Process
If a refund is approved for custom furniture ordered from our Auckland workshop:
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days in New Zealand dollars (NZD)
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- You are responsible for returning the furniture to our Auckland workshop in its original condition
- Return shipping costs within New Zealand may apply unless the return is due to our error
- All refunds comply with New Zealand consumer protection laws
Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our furniture crafted in our Auckland workshop, exchanges are not available. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at our Auckland location to discuss options, which may include modifications or repairs using New Zealand timber and materials.
Damaged in Transit
If your custom furniture from our Auckland workshop arrives damaged during delivery within New Zealand:
- Inspect the furniture immediately upon delivery
- Note any damage on the delivery receipt
- Contact us at our Auckland workshop within 24 hours with photos of the damage
- We will arrange for repair at our Auckland facility or replacement at no cost to you
- All repairs will use matching New Zealand timber and materials where applicable
